So, I had an interview with Camp Rock’s Meaghan Martin through the phone today at 3:06PM PST. (rofl) I had A LOT of fun talking to her. It reminds me that celebrities are normal people too, you know? We talked for about twenty minutes on the phone, which was enough for questions. Here’s the transcript:
CAREER QUESTIONS:
So, to start off, what is your role in Camp Rock?
I play Tess Tyler, who is kind of the antagonist in the movie.
When did you start acting and singing?
I started about 3 to four years ago. I did a couple of professional acting. But I started acting and singing when I was about three, so abour eleven years ago. -laughs-
Why did you decide to audition for Camp Rock?
Actually, my agent tells me to audition for whatever. So at first, I thought that it wasa Nickelodeon movie, then I learned that it was a Disney Channel Original Movie.
Everyone is saying that there will be a Camp Rock 2. Will you be a part of the cast again if you had a chance?
I would definitely love ot be a part of the cast if there was a Camp Rock 2.
Was it hard playing the mean girl in the movie?
It’s not that hard to play the mean girl in the movie because you can sometimes just feel it. But after you act it out, you feel bad for being mean. -laughs-
What do you miss most about the set?
I miss the cast members the most. They’re such great people.
Were did you hang out the most on set?
We mostly hung out in school, because we had to do school first thing in the day for three hours.
What was the best role that you have ever gotten?
It was probably my role as Tess in Camp Rock. It was really fun.
You have a beautiful voice! Are you planning on releasing an album soon?
Thank you! I actually am planning on releasing an album by the end of this year or early next year.
If you weren’t singing or acting, what would you be instead?
I would probably be a garbage man. -laughs- Just kidding. I would probably be a teacher or a fashion designer, but I don’t know how to draw, so I’ll be a teacher.
What is the best part in your career?
The best part in my career is getting to meet new people and making new friends.
What is one thing that you can’t wait for until the end of the year?
I can’t wait until Camp Rock premieres because I want to see what you guys will think of it.

Actually, no, not at all. I know it sounds like it’s not true, but it actually is. The whole cast got along together really well!

There are talks about having a Camp Rock tour.
Lanie is asking who was the funniest person on set?
Hmm… I would probably say it’s a tie between Demi, Joe and Nick. -laughs- Nick is quiet, but he says a lot of funny things.
Margee from Camp Rock Online wants to know one thing that no one knows about you.
Hm.. that is a good question. Maybe it’s the fact that I have bad vision. I wear contacts, and if I take them out, I will be legally blind. Like, if I look at objects down on the ground, like a bug for example, I would be seeing the bug in 2-D. I guess that’s one thing that not a lot of people know about me. -laughs-
Carey from Canada is asking who were you closest to on set?
That is a though question. I am very close with everyone on set. I am very close with Demi, the Jonas Brothers, Anna Maria, Jasmine, Roshon, Jordan… I would name the whole cast so I’ll just stop. -laughs-
Tricia is asking if you have seen Camp Rock yet?
I have actually, I have seen it two times!

I like both of their videos, they’re really funny, but I would pick Demi’s and Selena’s, since I only talked to Miley once and we haven’t really gotten to know each other well yet.
